Vendrys D Henry is the founding Principal and head of firm for VH Lawyers Limited Solicitors.
He was born in Kingston, Jamaica and worked with the Jamaican Government’s Justice Ministry for a number of years. He holds a LLB (Hons) from the University of London and was enrolled as Solicitor for the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2004. He was a Partner at Greenland Lawyers LLP where he specialised in criminal law and immigration law
Vendrys regularly participate in immigration seminars offering expert advice within the wider Jamaican Diaspora in the UK including victims of the Windrush Scandal. He has extensive experience in deportation appeals, bail applications, entry clearance applications, family migration, EEA cases and human rights. He has gained a solid experience working on detention cases, in particular relating to claims for unlawful detention. Vendrys also deals with business immigration under the Points Based System.
In 2017, Vendrys was bestowed with the Governor-General’s Achievement Award (GGAA) by the Government of Jamaica in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Jamaican Diaspora in the UK.
